    Okinawa Prefectural Government

    Located in Izumisaki, Naha City, Okinawa Prefectural Government is the westernmost and southernmost prefectural government office in Japan. Located at the western entrance of Kokusai-dori Avenue, which is crowded with many tourists, the Naha Prefectural Government Office is the center of Naha City, where business people and tourists gather with the Naha City Hall, banks, department stores, monorail stations, and other facilities. Tours of the government building are available by appointment.

    Yui Rail

    Yui Rail, which opened in August 2003, is a monorail line that connects the 17-km distance between Naha Airport and Tedako-Urasai in 37 minutes, and is the only existing railroad line in Okinawa Prefecture that is used by residents and tourists. The monorail itself is a popular sightseeing facility, as it travels at a high elevation and offers a great view of the city. Tsubokawa Station and Asahibashi Station are about a 10-minute walk from Okinawa Harbor View Hotel.

    National Route 58 is the main highway on the main island of Okinawa.     Kokusai Street, a 10-minute walk from Okinawa Harbor View Hotel, is the busiest main street and the largest downtown area in Okinawa Prefecture, stretching about 1.6 km from the Kencho North Exit intersection to the Asato three-way intersection. The street, which takes about 30 minutes to walk slowly from one end to the other, is lined with souvenir stores, restaurants, department stores, and fashion buildings that give a sense of Okinawan style to the eyes of tourists.
